Free radical thinking or free thinking radical?

"A human being is endowed with free will. He can use this to choose between good and evil. If he can only perform good or only perform evil, then he is a clockwork orange - meaning that he has the appearance of an organism lovely with colour and juice but is in fact only a clockwork toy to be wound up by God or the Devil.
....the important thing is moral choice."
-Anthony Burgess, A Clockwork Orange

As you can tell by my choice of quotes I am in a particularly apathetic and cynical mood today. Rutger Hauer said in Blind Fury (I know it's a remake of Zatoichi) : "Unreasonable men make life so difficult." Perhaps it is the ridiculousness of this world, or a combination of tired and nervous that leads me to this. Perhaps I am dreading the 12 hour flight to Hawaii or the fact that by the end I will have been awake for 48+ hours and I have no best-man speech written yet. I think it is likely to be a combination of all that. I do hope that the Hawaii islands bring back some perspective with warmth, water, sand and sun. Aloha
