This may sound like a street performing magician or Richard Chamberlin in character assaulted me in an elevator, but its not true.
Instead, I simply encountered actor Paul Blackthorne (recently seen as Brooke Shields' husband on CBS' Lipstick Jungle) while entering my gym.
He may not look it on tv, but he is pretty tall (6'3" according to IMDB) and in shape.
